40 Days for Life - Dedicated Day of Prayer

This year for the 40 Days for Life campaign, we joined forces with the Knights of Columbus, St Rose of Lima and St John the Baptist in Little Canada to sign up for a 12 hour vigil of prayer outside Planned Parenthood in Saint Paul. We say this often but now, more than ever, is the critical time when being present before evil is key to witnessing the hands of God and the power of the Holy Spirit at work.

Thank you to everyone who was able to make it that day and throughout this 40 days to pray for the walls of Jericho to come down and abortion to end. Seek first the kingdom of God and know the joy of the Lord!

$6,500.00 Donated Because of Fundraising Efforts & You!

Every year, our ProLife group will review the funds in our balance and make considerable donations to organizations with prolife causes.

This year, with the funds raised by last year’s Gala, the Mother’s Day flower sale and other events and donations given by parishioners who believe in the cause, we had $6,500.00 available to donate! Our group nominated ten different organizations that they believed in and went back to those organizations to learn more about how funds would help their different projects. The results were incredible and life-changing!

Thank you to all who have donated to our events and believe as we do - that life is worth saving, from the moment of conception to the last breath.

  • Use of Funds: purchasing of diapers needed in excess of those donated to us.

  • Use of Funds: 2 clients ready to give birth in the next 6 weeks. One would receive a double stroller and the other a bunch of smaller items she has on her baby shower registry.

  • Use of Funds: helping people in poverty - putting hope in action (general fund)

  • Use of Funds: general fund

  • Use of Funds: towards the costs to run the small non-profit and to purchase items that aren’t often donated like new underwear, socks, hygiene products and coats in extra-large sizes.

  • Use of Funds: general fund

  • Use of Funds: to purchase at least two infant car seats

  • Use of Funds: sheets, blankets and towels

  • Use of Funds: at home blood glucose test machine plus supplies, portable oxygenators, one full and one single size floral sheet sets (for families who stay overnight with their loved one).

  • Use of Funds: Capital project
