Communion to Shut-ins
Shut-ins may receive communion on Sundays or during the week.
Either one of the parish befrienders or clergy from the parish visit and
bring communion to those that are not able to get out for Mass.
Visits to the Sick and Home Bound
Father Williams makes regular visits to the sick members of
our parish family that are in the hospitals and homes. Please inform
the parish office accordingly, so that the prayers and comforts of the
church can be extended to our sick members.
Family Service/Funeral Luncheon
Sirba Hall is available for luncheons for the
family and friends of a parishioner buried from our Church. More
information is available from the parish office.
Loaves and Fishes - Dorothy Day Center
Our parish prepares and serves the noon meal at the Dorothy Day Center
on the fifth Saturday of the month.
Prayer Network
This is an organized network of parishioners who respond
in prayer to request for prayers of petition as well as thanksgiving.
Special Intention Basket
On the usher’s table in the narthex of the church, there are special
intention slips for you to complete and drop in the basket before Mass.
These will be brought to the altar during the Offertory and the Lector
will ask that we pray for all the special intentions requested in the
basket during the Prayers of the Faithful.
Widow & Widowers Group
Those who have lost their spouse through death are invited once a month
to share a meal, join in social activities & receive spiritual
reinforcement.
Befrienders
These trained and caring parishioners are commissioned to visit the
hospitalized and homebound, the lonely, alienated and hurting. They
minister to them in the name of the parish community, especially in time
of need.
Green Tape
The last Sunday of the month is set aside for the collection of food,
staples and money which is taken to a local food shelf. They are available
to the people of our parish and the surrounding area.
