Communion to Shut-ins

Shut-ins may receive communion on Sundays or during the week.  Either one of the parish befrienders or clergy from the parish visit and bring communion to those that are not able to get out for Mass.

Visits to the Sick and Home Bound

Father Williams makes regular visits to the sick members of our parish family that are in the hospitals and homes.  Please inform the parish office accordingly, so that the prayers and comforts of the church can be extended to our sick members.

Family Service/Funeral Luncheon

Sirba Hall is available for luncheons for the family and friends of a parishioner buried from our Church.  More information is available from the parish office.

Loaves and Fishes - Dorothy Day Center

Our parish prepares and serves the noon meal at the Dorothy Day Center on the fifth Saturday of the month.

Prayer Network

This is an organized network of parishioners who respond in prayer to request for prayers of petition as well as thanksgiving.

Special Intention Basket

On the usher’s table in the narthex of the church, there are special intention slips for you to complete and drop in the basket before Mass. These will be brought to the altar during the Offertory and the Lector will ask that we pray for all the special intentions requested in the basket during the Prayers of the Faithful.

Widow & Widowers Group

Those who have lost their spouse through death are invited once a month to share a meal, join in social activities & receive spiritual reinforcement.

Befrienders

These trained and caring parishioners are commissioned to visit the hospitalized and homebound, the lonely, alienated and hurting. They minister to them in the name of the parish community, especially in time of need.

Green Tape

The last Sunday of the month is set aside for the collection of food, staples and money which is taken to a local food shelf. They are available to the people of our parish and the surrounding area.
