First Eucharist & First Reconciliation

First Reconciliation

Parents introduce their children to the Sacrament of Reconciliation at the same time as First Eucharist. Being a registered parishioner and enrollment in a our year-long family formation program is required. A family-oriented preparation process is offered to assist parents with children in grade two. Preparation includes an introductory parent session, attendance at our Enrollment Mass in November, completion of a home study workbook, attendance at our monthly Family Formation program and a parent/child retreat experience.

First Reconciliation is celebrated in early February.  Parents and family members have found this preparation to be a good reason for them to again receive the graces of the Sacrament.

Reconciliation Celebrations: Celebrate this Sacrament any Saturday at 3:00 p.m. More opportunities for reconciliation are offered during Advent and Lent.
